Matriarch

Matriarch, the Origin, Shield maiden of the moon,the first of many, daughter of Rielle Deluna. From the wrecked remains of this machine came the data that armed the Lunar Cities. Thus, did these cities band together and formed the Clandon Empire. They would then strike down the unjust.

Plan 01- Matriarch, was the first SHIELD ever assembled. Rielle Deluna has been credited as the source of its design. Though there are rumors that its origin is something much more ancient. It is the first machine to be powered by a newly discovered power source called Crimsol which would have granted it god-like powers. It has a pair of spaceship grade boosters attached to its back. That means that this robot was a lot bigger than the SHIELDS I have been drawing. Armed with experimental crimsol pile driver at its right arm and a crimsol arm gun at its left. Its primary purpose was to protect the lunar cities from the increasingly unreasonable UN.

Piloted by its creator, the Matriarch fended off 2 attacks by the highly decorated 1st UN space fleets by itself. Their first engagement ended with the 1st fleet routing after a successful defense. When the 1st UN fleet returned to bombard Avalon in 2195AD, Matriarch was able to cause them sever losses, rendering the 1st fleet combat ineffective for the first year of the war. By this time there were already Mk1's but they were not deployed because Rielle did not want to reveal Avalon city's military might just yet.
